The Canada Cup is an annual event held in Jakarta every year in May with the purpose to continue cultivating the relationship between Canada and Indonesia by promoting and strengthening thepartnership between members of CALINDO (Canadian Alumni in Indonesia) and ICCC (Indonesia Canada Chamber of Commerce) under the umbrella of the Embassy of Canada and further strengthening the bond between the Canadian and Indonesian communities.

Last year, our Canada Cup Golf Tournament was a big success, thanks to the enthusiastic players and strong support from loyal sponsors.

The December 01, 2016 Canada Year End Dinner promises to maintain its reputation as being one of the most enjoyable, relaxing, and friendly events of the season as we invite Canadians, Indonesians, and all friends in the international community to enjoy an evening of free flow wine, friendships (new and old), delicious food, and of course the chance to win a number of door prizes.

This year’s theme is called “Blending In Traditions” and we invite participants to dress up in attires infused with Canadian and/or Indonesian element. The Government of Indonesia has signaled a strong interest to in having the private sector participate in and invest in Indonesia’s ambitious infrastructure development program.

This extended breakfast briefing will provide an overview of the infrastructure landscape, including the energy and transportation sectors, and provide a status update on the government’s PPP framework.

The briefing will also provide information on programming being implemented by the World Bank, including a project funded by Canada for the establishment and capacity building of a PPP Centre in the Ministry of Finance.

Information on procurement trends, sources of information, and possible entry points to infrastructure project will be shared and discussed.
